The People Democratic Party, PDP, Plateau State chapter has raised alarm that Governor, Simon Lalong has held in secret meeting some top Northerners in Abuja which includes the including Emir of Wase, Kanam Generals,/ Danbazzau to intervene in rigging the Saturday 9th governorship election in favour of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
According the PDP in a statement it said the alleged secret meeting by the Governor and others is to solicit for federal Support ahead of the Governorship election of 9th March.
He had explained further that the Jos North/ Bassa election scenario between ID Gyang and Rufus Bature, of course the result which was announced in favour of PDP didn’t go down well with the ruling APC who considered Plateau North as their strong hold was a biggest shocker in favor of I.D Gyang, it’s a plot to distract the PDP.
The template he is planning to use for the Governorship election is for the Card Readers to be delayed and stop reading by making it to malfunction in stronghold of PDP especially Mangu LGA and Jos South Riyom, Langtang South, North.
It was gathered that they deployed same strategy they used in Borno, Yobe, Zamfara, Kano and Rivers in Plateau in places like Kanam, wase, Jos North and Shandam to effect irregularities, impunity, harassment of voters which eminent .
The will revert to manual voting and claim the card Readers failed. The Presidency has promised to assist him especially with Logistics. The President will also allegedly call the INEC Recs on the day of announcing results for States of Plateau, Benue, Taraba and Adamawa. For Plateau, he was assured to do anything he wishes; there will be federal might to help him.
He complained of not having good cooperation from the Military in Jos and wanted Buratai/ Danbazzau to intervene to deploy more security to help disrupt the election schedule to hold on Saturday.
The flash point in central zone he said is Mangu with a voting population of over 150, 000 if the LGA can be neutralised, Wase, Kanam where they have perfected plans to use INEC staff in thumb printing ballot papers.
The Deputy Governor ward, Gindiri and Mangu ward one will operate manual without the Card to give them an edge while card readers will experience delays in other parts of the LGA.
They plan to cage movements of his Excellency JT Useni and other party stakeholders as well as withdrawal of security personnel to made Langtang South, North vulnerable to the poor voters .

There must be strong presence security in some hot spots especially Jos North, Kanam, wase and Shandam where monitoring the party agents of PDP they want to bring block bites to neuratise Mangu, Jos south.
The statement also said part of the plan is for the situation room must ensure that Kanam and Jos North votes comes before they release Jos south, Bassa, Riyom and Mangu, don’t be in a hurry to release results from your strongholds like it happened in 2015.
PDP agents in these hot spots MUST flag off any act that will compromise the party, PDP must add up numbers of agents who are to monitor these hot spots as 1or 2 can easily compromise.
In Kanam specifically, they want to deliver high votes for the Governor by all means.
