Explain To Us Why You Called Off The Commissioning Of EPZ In Ogidigbe, Itsekiri Graduates Tell Jonathan
Following the calling off of the commissioning of Export Processing Zone, EPZ, the association in a statement signed by the Public Relation Officer Comrade Dennis Mene, said; “after an emergency National Executive council meeting of National Association of Itsekiri Graduates NAIG WORLD-WIDE on the 14th of November,2014 at the National secretariat Warri by 5pm, the association resolved as follows: “that indeed it is a collective slight on us all for the President of Nigeria to call off the commissioning of the Export processing zone (EPZ) Ogidigben in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta state by a mere threat of an ex-militant, Government Ekpumopolo who is laying false claim to Ogidigben land.”
The statement thus; “we demand an explanation from the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria on why the commissioning was called off after he has announced to the whole world in its second term declaration that he will be coming to Delta State to commission the Ogidigben Epz project and as a follow up to a successful commissioning we have put all modalities in place.”
“More so, we demand to know from the President if he is the President of Ijaw or President of Nigeria? Finally, we want to know from Mr. president and the Executive Governor if we have two Commander in-Chief or Chief Security Officer of the state?
