The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has commissioned a one km township road constructed by the Executive Chairman of Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Honorable Jagga.
The Governor gave the disclosure during the commissioning of the road projects on Saturday. 25th September 2026.
The commissioning of the 1km road project was to mark Nasarawa @ 30 years of Creation; the Governor, in his speech, said it meant addressing key challenges like economic growth, security, building trust, and engaging with citizens.
Other challenges, according to him, include fostering transparency and democratic commitment and accountability, and the Governor initiating policies that tackle systemic issues
Engineer Abdullahi Sule opined that he will use innovation and infrastructure, accountability, and transformation reforms, pushing boundaries in sectors like education, health care, or technology.
The Governor averred that he is setting a benchmark for leaders and empowering the next generation.

One of our roads from Wamba – Alizaga, we have almost completed the project; only the building of the bridge remains. For the stadium, we have gone far, and we will commission it soon. We will also commission your market soon, as well as the Local Government Secretariat in Wamba Local Government Area.
