Engr Jimmy Zingtim Cheto has charged People Democratic Party, PDP, urged the Hon Damishi Sango led leadership to make the right choice of candidate on Sunday to make the party recover the state from the opposition party.
He cautioned that the zoning of governorship should be zone to Langtang South who said have been in the race since 1998 and are yet to test any leadership in spite of their numerous contribution to development of democracy in the state.
Cheto gave this request to the state Chairman of PDP, Hon Damishi Sango at the party secretariat on Wednesday while presenting his interest to the delegates ahead of Sunday primaries.
He pledges his loyalty to work with the party in case he lost at the primaries which is scheduled to hold this Sunday ,saying this party shall rise again ,I came here to show myself because leadership come from God Almighty .
According to him, if we don’t get the right choice of candidate then PDP is going suffer another years of setbacks but I urge the party men to put aside their political differences and come out with an experience and credible person that is acceptable to all.
He explained further that he is joining the race for the fourth time with the sold aim to bring his wealth of experience into governance to develop infrastructural deficit in the state.
Cheto says ,the late Solomon Daushep Lar remain the father of democracy in Nigeria ,we most learnt to contribution to the peaceful coexistence if we get the right choice then we are going to make Nigeria great.
He stressed that during the era of former National Chairman of PDP, late Lar the party goes for a credible person that has the heart and desire to transform the state but now everyone is coming to vie for governorship seat so there is need for the party to do something on it.
The state chairman, Hon Damishi Sango promised to be conduct free and credible primaries that all aspirants will agree to work with him.
