Enforcement Right: FRSC Assaults Abdulmutalif Yerima Vandalizes His Car In Plateau , Counsel Seeks Justice

A suit filed by Abdulmutalif Yerima and orders Vs Federal Roads Safety Corps, FRSC, 5 others before Justice Musa Haruna Kurya sitting in Federal High Court ,Jos Division has been adjourned for adoption of written addresses by the counsels .

 

The Judge adjourned to 28th September,2018 for the defense and the counsel to the plaintiff adopts all written addresses which he earlier slated 29th June,2018 for judgment but was quick to remind the two counsels of lack up written addresses before the court .

 

However, counsel to the plaintiff, Barr. Solomon Maren told the court the issue before this honourable court is that of enforcement of fundamental rights of his clients who were assaulted beating to coma.

 

We came with expectation that the matter will be put to rest considering the abuse of fundamental human rights netted on Abdulmutalif Yerima and I other person as the judge gave this predication and hoping call us during his vacation period.

 

Barr Solomon Maren further advised all the law enforcement agencies to kindly respect the right of citizens whose tax are use in paying them .

 

He called on the court the applications which content all the written addresses and filed further and better affidavit dated 24th January, 2018 in response to the 3rd respondents counter affidavit that accompanies for better argument.

 

Maren told the court that the better response in counter affidavit of 1st ,2nd ,4th ,5th and 6th respondents are with written addresses asking the court to look into the matter which include fundamental rights ruled 2009 doesn’t provide for separate written addresses because their addresses had been filed .

 

 

Plaintiff counsel express concern on the fundamental human rights of his client dated 16-08-2017 and filed 21st August, 2018 seeks the enforcement of right of the applicants.

 

The victims were beaten by five staff of FRSC and his car was vandalist at a check point detained, Abdulmutalif Yerima counsel is seeking for justice

 

The defendants counsel J.D.Nyam while responding says, we have adopted its adjournment.
