Dr. Osuji Launches Book For Gov.Ihedioha First

An Imo born-author, Dr.Chuks Lawrence Osuji,in his ability in disability as an educated blind man,was in Owerri, recently officially launched first book he wrote for the Imo State Governor, Chief Emeka Ihedioha,with the title: Ihedioha on a Divine Race to Douglas House”.

 

The 354 page-book is a narrative analysis,encapsulated all the major political campaign activities of the Governor in the last 2019 governorship elections held in Imo State.

 

The book was formally presented by Chief Book Launcher,Dr.George Echebelem,who was ably represented by Chief Valentine Echebelem, whereas, the Publisher of Nigerian Moment Newspaper,Chief Dr.George Nkwoji,served as the Chairman, Planning Committee.

 

Speaking, the celebrated blind author, Dr.Osuji,appreciated the people of Imo State and beyond who witnessed the book launch,especially the members of the PDP.

 

“Yes, earlier, the title of the book was:Rugged Route to Douglas House, but was later changed to:The Divine Race to Douglas House”,Dr.Osuji revealed.

 

The Author said,” I was inspired to write books because I  am  circumstantial writer,trained in the United States of America,USA,and I have been writing on circumstantial events, such as books on HIV Aids,Otokoto 1996 Saga,Late Ikemba Ojukwu’s death,and lots more. Each time there is a National event, I must write a book on it. So I am mostly motivated to be the first person to write book for Gov.Ihedioha as he became Governor. This book would let the young ones who wants to engage themselves into active politics to get more prepared before going into such political project like Gov.Emeka who contested in the past and later tried again,you can see him today as Imo Governor”.

 

Author Osuji, more so,advised all those physically challenged persons living with disability in the society to take good examples from his intellectuals,because I am a happy blind man. I decided not to be a beggar, I would been a corporate beggar with dignity,but I choose not, and off course, I can not be”,he proclaimed.

 

Meanwhile, in his voice, Hon.Valentine Echebelem, who represented the Chief Book Launcher,Dr.George Echebelem, based in the US,but was unable to be in Nigeria due to flight difficulties and some other activities, according to Hon.Valentine.

 

Echebelem, while responding to questions from newsmen, expressed delight to have a very responsible and reasonable brother like Dr.Osuji in the society,whom he described as a divine gift to humanity through his articles of inspiration and motivation,though he is handicapped but his disability did not deterred him, even as he is without sight,yet he is still doing exploit in all ramifications.

 

He commended Dr.Osuji for his mental ability in disability and also extolled him for capturing all that politically happened during and after the last 2019 guber elections that brought Chief Emeka Ihedioha as Imo Governor.

The Chief Launcher,therefore encouraged the blind Author, Dr.Osuji, and prayed God Almighty to grant him more strength, wisdom, knowledge,good health and understanding to do more good tidings for the society.

 

To the celebrated Imo Governor, Chief Ihedioha, the Chief Launcher enjoined him to leave up to higher expectations of the entire Imo people in all his leadership policies and imbibe the spirit of good governance.

 

The Book Reviewer,was a very young vibrant man,Prof.Protus Nathan Uzorma,and the former Imo NUJ State Chairman,Sir.Fidel Onyeneke,read the citation of the Author, whereas the Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, was the Chief Host of the epoch making book launching ceremony.
