This medium was denied tagged that  Only 15 Journalists received Governor Simon Lalong  accreditation  by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) to cover the elections in 13 Local Governments, with over 300 polling unities.

Some of Of Simon Lalong senior government officials couldn’t be reached when Journalist made efforts to see them as they were hiding to change the original result sheets.

However Media organizations that embarked on the coverage without PLASIEC tag, were arrested, harassed and molested in the Southern zone of the state, but later released.

The Plateau State Local Government Councils’ election may have been concluded yesterday, but not without series of confusion and complaints from voters and the participating registered political parties.

Across the 13 local government areas where elections were expected to take place in the state, voters turned out en mass to exercise their franchise but they were disenfranchised by returning officers.
