COVID-19: No Students Are Allowed To Sit For Exam Without Facemasks At Dutse Model International School

In compliance with NCDC COVID-19 guidelines the Director of Dutse Model International schools said no students will be allowed to sit for final exams without having facemasks, according to him he said, it is part of the government directive that students and teachers as well as labourers must wear facemasks throughout the school hours to avoid the spread of COVID-19 in school.

The Director of the schools Malam Lawal Adamu Yusuf in an interview with our reporter in his office said over four million Naira is being owed the schools by parents who refused to pay their children’s school fees.

The director said that parents of some of the students are not being fair to the school authorities as he said that there some parents who have not paid their children/wards school fees for three consecutive times, adding that it is not the school’s habit to send children back home.

The principal who is the director of the schools urged the parents to pay the school fees of their children with the finale exams approaching.

Adding further he said a total of 190 students will sit for final exams for the Junior WAEC, while 205 students are expected to sit for WEAC and NECO exams.
