The Correspondents’ Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Nasarawa State Council has commiserated with Governor Abdullahi Alhaji. Sule over the demise of his Special Adviser (SA) on Utilities, Alhaji Sani Haruna-Nalado.
Chairman of the chapel,Issac Ukpoju who led the members on a condolence visit to the Governor at the his country in Gudi community of Akwanga Local Government Area explained that the visit was to commiserate with the Chief executive over the death of his late SA on utilities.
He said that the deceased was one of them, because he retired as member of the Federated Chapel of the NUJ in the State.
Mr Ukpoju explained that Alhaji Haruna-Nalado died when his services was needed most in the state.
He prayed God to forgive the deceased whatever wrong he had committed and give the family and State Government the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Governor while responding, expressed gratitude to Journalists in the State and other groups for the solidarity and sympathy shower on him in the moment of his grieve.
He described the deceased as his brother, childhood friend, confidant, adding that, ‘he would be greatly missed’.
The visit featured special prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased from the Chapel.
Nalado died on Monday June 15 at Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital after a brief illness.
