Commissioner for Local Government Dismisses PDP Claims As Frivolous and Blackmail By Rabiu Omaku, Lafia

Honorable Muhammadu Dan’azumi and the chairman Nasarawa state Internal Revenue Board, Usman Okposhi has debunked the allegation leveled against them by the People’s Democratic Party In Obi Local Government has frivolous and blackmail meant to ridicule them before the world, The power brokers condemned the act as total distraction from reality on ground.

The commissioner for Local Government in a separate interview reacted on the allegation that he heralded the destruction of PDP office in Obi as well hired thugs to attacked senator Suleiman Adokwe, serving senator representing Nasarawa south by people identified to be militia of the All Progressives Congress.

‘’All I know was that we in the APC held a peaceful sweeping rally a day after the PDP campaign rally in my community, He added that the rally was devoid of rancor and acrimony, This wasn’t’ the first time they are threatening us with security agents, They keep on saying the owned soldiers and police as the party at the federal level”.

Usman Okposhi, The headship of Nasarawa Internal Revenue Board denied sponsoring thugs to either vandalized party office or attacked senator Adokwe, describing the allegation as lacking substance ,reacting over the press conference held by the opposition party he ascribed the threat of reprisal attack on calling for his arrest by the security operatives as a mere threat.

“I’m a civil servant not politician, all I know was that I support good governance and party in power ,I see no reason people would blackmail your person for selfish gain, He further added.

Calling on Nigerians to remain peaceful at all times, He appealed to youth in Nasarawa state and Obi Local Government to endure tranquility during and after election saying the state is greater than an individual.

The PDP in Obi Local Government during a press conference has threaten to react to further attack by the APC in the state, This was contained in a press statement sign by Muhammadu Adudu  and made available to press men  at Obi ,The headquarter of Obi Local Government.
