CNPP Says APC Registration, Signals Death of One Party State, Hails to INEC

Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP today hailed the birth of All Progressives Congress, APC as it said it signals the death of one party state in Nigeria.
Speaking Osita Okechukwu, spokesman of CNPP congratulated the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on the registration of APC.
Speaking further Okechukwu said; “, CNPP rates the registration of APC as the death of one party state in Nigeria, hence taken our democracy to the next level.

“Nigerians now have a golden opportunity to make choice between two dominant political parties; one anchored on social democracy, pro-people and one anchored on conservative and anti-people programs as is the case in all liberal democracies.
Adding further, Okechukwu said; “We congratulate INEC for its forthrightness, steadfast and obedience to the rule of law.
“It is heartwarming that INEC captured the intendment of the 1999 Constitution not to register phony groups or mischief makers as political parties” CNPP spokesman said.
