The Doma Local Government Council chairman, Honorable Jonathan Okuba Addra, following the recent burning of houses and shops in Agyema community of Doma Local Government Council over a kingship tussle, has suspended both District and Village Heads of Agyema community for a period of 6 months.
The Executive Chairman gave the hint during an inspection visit to the crisis-prone area of Agyema, accompanied by security operatives.
He, however, suspended the district and village heads of the community, and he directed the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources to take over all bodies of water within the community.
Hon.Jonathan Okuba Addra buttressed that all title holders appointed by Ogodiya Ojiku to vacate their title, which he said is null and void.
He also ordered Ayuba Ayitono and Ogodiya Ojiku to go into exile to restore normalcy in the community.
He averred that the district and village heads are banned from Agyema community for a period of six months.
The Executive Chairman also during an inspection of the crisis-prone community to ascertain the number of destruction done to houses destroyed and expressed displeasure over the destruction done to the community
He, however, directed security agencies to bring the brain behind the recent crisis, a police officer who was at the community to bag a traditional title must bring him to book for violating the agreement signed by both the district and village heads.
It could be recalled that the community was in crisis for a kingship tussle for barely ten years.
Honorable Jonathan Okuba Addra called all and sundry, fomenting trouble to desist or face the full wrath of the law.
