Bulletin From Doma Progressive Front, A Call to Rescue G.S.S. Doma North

0 61

It’s incumbent upon us, we the humble members of Doma Progressive Front (DPF) to bring forth to the public notice the unwholesome fencing, blockage and taken over land of Government Secondary School, Doma North by the former Governor of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma.

This singular act has signaled the folding up of the school which has already graduated six sets, because the former governor has given the school two years notice to relocate from his land, he claimed. One question on the lips of most Doma people is “where was Aliyu Doma when Nasarawa state established the school in 2002?”

Following the dismay expressed by most Doma people on this seemingly attempt to shut down G.S.S. Doma North, DPF, boisterously wrote the council chairman, copied security agents and relevant stakeholders.

Urging them to act promptly. As at the time of writing this bulletin, access road to school has been completely blocked. The entire scenario remains enigma to most Doma people.

School is akin to a sanctum where not just knowledge is acquired but morals, therefore belongs to the entire Doma people. Assuming but not conceding, the said land belongs to the former governor, it seems, he has the moral duty to donate, and even put up befitting structures with the hope to promote education which is the ladder to success not wilting it.

DPF hereby urges its members and entire Doma youths to remain law abiding while patiently waiting for the outcome of our letters to the authorities concern please.

Long Live DPF

Long Life Nasarawa State

Signed
