Breaking: Angry IDPs Pelt Governor Al-Makura’s Convoy With Stones

Angry Internally Displaced Persons in Agwatashi of Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State pelted stones on Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura demanding for the security of their lives, as they added that they don’t need food.

The aggrieved IDP’S resisted the governor’s address at RCM primary school Obi saying; “Our brothers were killed in the bush; our crops were burnt by Fulani nomads.”

TIV president Boniface Ifer in an interview identified the protesters as non-TIV speaking people.

He confirmed that over 37 corpses were recovered while the herders displaced all neighboring Tiv communities.

The governor said they are suffering from trauma and loss of consciousness, promising the deployment of air surveillance to the affected communities.
