Boko Haram Terrorists In Bassa LG Raped Women, Stole Their Money By Yakubu Busari, Jos

Displaced Boko Haram in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states have been regrouped in Bassa Local Government of Plateau state and are terrorizing motorists along Jingre -Saminaka Road. This group of suspected sect members who engaged travelers by robbing them off their properties and rapping the women before collecting their items.
One of the  staff with  international NGO Mr Lachang Kumven while narrating his experienced  on his way from Kano through Saminaka road in the evening of 15th Match,2015  inside a bus were they  robbed him and other travelers ,says  these unknown gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram sects force everyone out before ordering us to bring out  money and the robbers took away everything including my credentials from GSS Langtang, University of Jos first degree and master’s degree .
Two week a journalist with Amina Hausa version of Daily Trust had his money taken away and that of other passengers in the vehicle.
A man who lost one of his relations in Jingre conveying the corpse for burial was also attack and then took away 50,000 including drinks main to entertain mourners was not speared.
The group has taken over the roads linking Kaduna state terrorist people most especially in the evening time sometime killing the travelers.
An appeal had been made to the security agencies to deploy there to help reduce the plight of people plying the road. Meanwhile a middle-aged Man and a retired staff of the NNPC, Ashe Ranty, were found dead at white House Hotel, in Bassa local Government area of Plateau state.
The white House Hotel situated between 4 or 5 kilometers away from Jos, the capital of Plateau at the Miango road Junction near the 3rd Amoured Division Rukuba in Bassa Local Government of the state was brutally killed in the pool of his blood.
A close relation of the deceased, Richard Musa Akiri said his Uncle, Ashe Ranty might have been killed by political sponsors due to his political affiliations.
Richard said his Uncle, Ashe Ranty until his death was an active member of the APC and sole owner of the said Hotel before his bead body was found with a cut on his neck believed to have been slaughtered.
Residence of  Jos who expressed shocked over the incidence said they have heard series of gun shots in the early hours of tuesday around the area.
Investigators haven’t provided any possible motives for the shooting. The police Public Relations Officer in Plateau State, Asp Emmanuel Abu didn’t provide any details saying such information was yet to reach him and until he confirms.
However, there has been fears that Plateau may witness another round of bloodletting in the forthcoming elections should the key players change adopt the ‘Swange Style’ of reverse order.

In the meantime, an Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC has met with the Plateau state chapter of INEC Officers in Jos to take stand on the general election and the crisis of PVCs.
