Bloodbath At APC’s House of Assembly Primaries; Four Persons Feared Dead, Scores Hospitalized By Rabiu Omaku,Lafia

Four people were feared killed in central Primary School, Garaku community of Kokona local government area of Nasarawa state, the venue of the All Progressives Congress primary election held yesterday.


Reliable source confided to universalreporters247.com that the victims were shot   when youths were opposing the alleged skyjacking of delegates since last week Saturday and taken out of the Local Government by one of the male aspirant from Kokona West constituency.

Dantani Madaki a councillor aspirant from Dari ,An a resident  of  Angoro community of Kokona  Garaku confided that  four persons were killed  following a  gun  shot from the crowd, Also a delegate loyal to the female aspirant was instantly hit by a bullet.
Ibrahim Kana also confirmed the incident “We were all waiting for the commencement of the exercise when the delegates who were missing since Saturday came in a bus and the youths began to protest thinking they were brought by one of the aspirant”.
“Before you know it we begin to hear gun shots which hit about four people”.
The blood clash was between the former commissioner of youth and sport, Daniel Ogazi and the daughter of Abaga Toni, Florence, The supporters of Florence Ayih are accusing the ex-commissioner for camping delegates at the abode of the two time governor of the state, Senator Abdullahi Adamu in Keffi . 


A chieftain of the APC in Kokona Local confirmed that two Hilux van accompanying the delegates to the old abode of the former governor, “delegates from Kokona were missing until yesterday morning that the appeared at the venue of the election”.


They were interrogated by those assigned for the conduct of the election to present their identity cards for screening before going to the venue of the election, And from nowhere bullets hit four Mada boys and they instantly died on the spot.
“Primary election did not hold in Kokona west constituency, for that announcing anybody as a winner is a waste of time”.

It was gathered that other delegates and party officials are on admission at an undisclosed health centre.


The female aspirant, Florence Ayih when contacted on phone confirmed the attack meted on her supporters and delegates at the venue of the election, saying the attack was not meted by Ombatse it was widespread rather by people confirmed to be party mobs.


All effort to contact the Police Public Relation Officer, Oguchukwu Theodore proved abortive as   he did not response to our reporter’s  call or text message as at press time.
