Birninkudu/Buji Federal Lawmaker Disburses  Empowerment Materials To  10,000 Women, Others

Over 10,000 fewer privilege in Buji and Birnin kudu federal constituency received empowerment material, including women who were registered for Empowerment packages to reduce poverty and promote wealth creation in  Jigawa state.

The Empowerment program was initiated by the Hon, member representing  Buji/Birninkudu federal constituency and chairman house committee on power Hon. Magaji.Da”u Aliyu..

In his speech, at the official launching of the program held in Birninkudu Hon Magaji stated that the aim of the program is to complement the effort of the federal government and Jigawa state government on social security.

He said the beneficiaries of the empowerment will be selected from each of the 276 polling units in his constituency.

” The empowerment will be in cash to enable every beneficiary to improve his own business or to start the business”

“I  am optimistic that, many of the beneficiaries will utilize the package for the betterment of their families” Hon Da”u declared.

In his speech at the launching of the program, the Chairman All Progressive Congress (APC) Birninkudu local government said, at their party level they will use the party structure at the grassroots to support the empowerment program for achieving the desired goals.

He then commended the lawmaker for his support to the party’s progress and commitment to the betterment of the people of his constituency, Jigawa state, and Nigeria at large.
