Jigawa state school of nursing and midwifery has been rated among the best school of Nursing in the country .
This was stated in an interview by the provost of the School of Nursing and Midwifery Mallam Abdu Garba , speaking the provost said the school is now fully accredited by federal government for the commencement of medical courses.
He said the school of Nursing will be enrolling 100 students every year while for that of midwifery will be enrolling 30 students also every year.
According to him, the college of midwifery is expected to graduate their first students this year, as he also said that their final exam indicates that student of the college got 96% in their final result.
He therefore called on the federal government and Jigawa state government for the expansion of Students number especially those in midwifery.
He thanked the state government for providing the students of school of nursing and midwifery with allowances as of N10,000 naira and N3000 respectively adding that it is highly commendable assuring.
