Bells Initiative Receives Osun Ministry Of Women Affairs Verification Team

The verification team of the Osun State Ministry of Women Affairs has visited the office of Bells Initiative in Osogbo as part of procedures for its registration.

The Team lead, Mr. Olumide Ajani said the registration would enhance the operations of the organization and boost its credibility.

Ajani reaffirmed the commitment of the organization to ensure a better and sustainable life for the people of the state.

Founded in 2020 as a nonprofit charity organization, Bells Initiative primary focus is to empower vulnerable individuals and communities in Nigeria by addressing critical issues such as education, agriculture and health.

Mr. Olusoji Odeyemi said “Our mission is to create an inclusive and sustainable environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and build a better future together. We envision a world where everyone, regardless of background, gender, religion, or circumstances, can learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive community—our core values of empathy, integrity, and a commitment to meaningful change guide our work.”

Since inception, the organization has implemented programs has positively impacting over 116,000 individuals in various communities such as Community Development and Social Cohesion:

“Our participatory projects focus on poverty alleviation, disability advocacy, women’s and Youth empowerment, and digital inclusion, health awareness advocacy, Education, Nutrition and Innovative agricultural practice. Others include Health and Well-Being support in which we provide humanitarian relief, healthcare access, and wellness programs that enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities” Odeyemi stated.

“Bells Initiative conducted highly successful health awareness campaign in Agunbelewo and Okinni in September of 2025 where it empower communities to drive sustainable progress through capacity-building programs including Women and youth Skill Awareness Campaign.”

Odeyemi said Bells Initiative partnered the two critical agencies of government saddled with the task of raising the socioeconomic status of these vulnerable categories, National Directorate of Employment (NDE) and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) to provide access to youth to benefit from opportunities offered by the agencies

He lauded the founder, Mr. Femi Lanlehin for his resolve to helping vulnerable people and communities. He prayed to God to protect and bless him more as he is determined to do more for the needy going forward.
