Be Very Patient, Quality Leadership Must Be Offered: Imo Information Commissioner, Barr.Ebiliekwe Tells Imolites

The newly appointed Imo State Commissioner of Information, Barr.Felix Emeka Ebeliekwe, has advised Imolites to be very patient with Governor Emeka Ihedioha led administration as the Governor is committed to render good and quality leadership to rebuild the State for the good of all citizens.
Barr.Ebiliekwe made the appeal during a familiarization meeting with newsmen in Owerri, last Saturday,August 24th 2019,at his Owerri State Secretariat,along Owerri/Portharcourt Road.
He urged Imolites continue to support the Rebuild Imo Project because “in less than no time we all will start to experience the positive effect of the Rebuild Imo Project in all sectors of the state including the media”.
Ebiliekwe added that Governor Emeka Ihedioha has achieved goodies for the state especially the payment of 100% salary to civil servants which he said began on August 1st, 2019, stating that the feat was in fulfilment of his election manifesto to Imo workers.
The Imo Information Commissioner, while addressing newsmen,described the Governor as a technocrat who knows the onus of good leadership having been tested and trusted, Ebiliekwe explained that the PDP led government in Imo State is running “a balanced and all inclusive appointment which is gender, zonal, religion, age, state and federal constituency friendly”.
The Commissioner affirmed that Ihedioha started on a good note with the appointment of a transition technical committee, interim management committee in the 27 local government areas and other government establishments including the assemblage of professionals, technocrats, ethical managers as commissioners, a move he stated is a show of class, excellence and responsibility.
Ebiliekwe who thanked journalists for attending the parley, appealed to them to continue to project the activities of the government in positive light, saying any journalist who does well in the profession is bound for handsome reward.
Those at the briefing includes:the Permanent Secretary of the Imo Information Ministry, Mrs.Beatrice Uwandu-Uzoma,some members and staffers of the ministry and others who are too numerous to be mentioned.
