Be Focused Avoid Detractions, Middle Belt Journalists Forum Tasks CDS

0

The Forum of Middle Belt Journalists wishes to state her firm resolve to firmly stand behind the Nigeria Armed Forces under the leadership of the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Christopher Gwam Musa.

We understand with regret the incident of the Angwan Biri, Kaduna State where about eighty people lost their lives due to a military operational accident.

We console with the families of the affected and mourn with the people of Kaduna state.

We also commend the prompt visit to the community by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tareed Lagbaja.

Going forward, the Forum urges the military top command not to be deterred in her resolve to end the war against insurgency by armed bandits and Boko Haram whose activities have caused untold economic hardship and general insecurity to the citizens.

We have noticed a huge success in the hot chase and wiping of the terrorists by the Nigerian military.

We commend the untiring efforts of the number one soldier, Gen Musa in this regard and urge him to watch out for those who would want to dent his image with misinformation reports.

May God bless Nigeria.
