The Senator representing Bauchi South senatorial District at the red chamber of the National Assembly, Lawal Yahaya Gumau has been advised to forget contesting the position for the second term come 2023.
Ibrahim Action who gave the advice when he featured in a Hausa political program “Ga Fili Ga Doki” claimed that he had worked as Director Campaign for the Senator.
The program which was aired on Globe Fm Bauchi today and monitored by our Correspondent quoted Ibrahim saying that the Senator was no longer fit to represent the good people of Bauchi South.
According to him, since the assumption of office as Senator, Gumau has not been coming to his senatorial zone to check and listen to the problems of his people.
He alleged that even those that used their resources and energy to ensure his victory at the last polls are not being carried along.
Ibrahim added that the Senator has not been visiting his district to sympathize with those that lost their beloved ones or help people during critical periods.
“If you go round all the primary and secondary schools in the 7 LGs that constitute the senatorial district he is representing, many require renovation but he doesn’t care to do it or build anyone”, he lamented.
