The forum of the Executive Directors of the Civil Society Organization (CSO-EDF) Bauchi State chapter has urged the Youth to make sure that they give peace a chance in the forthcoming general election to come in 2023.
The society made this known to Newsmen during their one sensitization on Friday in Bauchi metropolitan, urging Youth to make sure that they fully participate in the 2023 general election and to vote for a better future.
Malam Sodangi Chindu Adam, who is the leader of the group said that Youth can only bring peace to the country by not involving themselves in political violence.
He added that ” without peace, you cannot achieve anything”.
He described the Youth as the backbone of every society who should use their initiative and cognitive abilities to vote for the candidate that will bring development to the country and consider them in administration.
On her part, Hajiya Hassana Lawan Bello, who is one of the directors said that they want to give awareness about the forthcoming general election and that they should try and get their permanent voters’ Cards and vote for God-fearing candidates that will end the issue of unemployment, insecurity, hardship and to bring development in the country.
Hajiya Hassana encouraged women to participate fully in the general election and to make sure that they did not sell their votes because their votes are their future.
