The Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Nasarawa State, David Emmanuel Ombugadu has said bandits and mercenaries can’t stop the party from winning Nasarawa State in next month’s general election.
Ombugadu gave the hint during the campaign rally of the party held at Karu, the gateway to the Federal Capital Territory.
He buttressed that no amount of intimidation would stop his party from taking over the Shendam road Government House come March 11, 2023.
Ombugadu however hinted that if given the chance as the next Governor of the State, he would fast-track the construction of 100-kilometre roads within his one hundred days in office.
Stating further that he will accord topmost attention to urban renewal as well expand Karu Local Government within the shortest time.
I won’t be like the incumbent Governor of the State who was not able to complete the 4.5km Shendam road after twelve months of kick-start of road construction.
The former Chairman of the PDP, Chief Yunana Iliya gave the party stakeholders of the unalloyed support of Gwari people in Karu Local Government.
Saying that Karu is always the home of the People’s Democratic Party for years.
“PDP in Gwari land is like ECWA Church, which is one of the leading Church of our days” explaining that PDP can’t fail the people with mouth-pouring promises.
The former minister of Information, Labaran Maku pleased with the party supporters to go and acquire their voters’ card, affirming that the voters’ card is the only tool to effect changes.
“PDP Government would turn Karu Local Government to a mini-London which will open a new vista for prosperity to flourish”.
I know that Karu is the home of PDP. What the present Government is doing now is to take over people’s land in Karu in the name of development but they Will not do that, they seize your lands to build their private business centres. We are assuring you that when PDP is elected, we will reverse this practice so that everyone in Karu will have a sense of belonging.
I call on you to guard your PVCs don’t surrender your cards to anybody for any reason. Vote all PDP candidates PDP is the only party that is sensitive to the needs of the people. You deserve the best, the poverty in Nasarawa State has continued to rise.
Our incoming Governor, Emmanuel Ombugadu will bring you succor. Insist on your ideals of seeking good governance.
