APGA Remains Best Bargaining Platform For Ndigbo-Obiano

The Anambra state Gov Willie Obiano has restated the commitment of his All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA)-led administration in the state to sustaining its political ideals of good governance and people-oriented leadership.

The governor who spoke yesterday at Amawbia during the Ozo title-taking ceremony of the National Chairman of APGA, Dr Victor Oye, described APGA as the most viable political party that presents Ndigbo with the much-needed platform for a better bargain at the centre.

He therefore pointed out the importance for the people to support and nurture the party and attracting all other Nigerians into it to enable it realize its dream of becoming the next top opposition party in the country.

He said his administration will continue to provide quality leadership that will elicit more support for the APGA across other geo-political zones of the country.

Gov Obiano commended the Amawbia community in Awka South Local Government Area of the state for finding APGA’s national chairman, Dr Oye worthy for the honour of induction into the revered and prestigious ancient Ozo title.

He noted with happiness that since their son mounted the party’s saddle of leadership, a lot of positive landmarks have been recorded.

The governor solicited the community’s support, promising not to renege on his stance to bring total transformation to the state, as Amawbia will continue to benefit from his administration.

Top officials and executives of the party and the state administration including the Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke, members of the State Assembly accompanied the governor to the event.

Dr Oye thanked the Governor and all the guests, adding that through the occasion, the Amawbia Community has proclaimed with one voice, their unflinching support for his administration.

The APGA National Chairman noted the party is already garnering support beyond the shores of Nigeria, said what is left is for the Gov Obiano to continue in his developmental strides, assuring him that the people will support his second term bid.
