The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate in plateau state Hon Simon Lalong has Promised to put Smile on the faces of Civil Servants in the state if voted into power .
Lalong made known at the party’s secretariat in Jos to some session of journalists .
According to the APC governorship candidate in plateau state; “, plateau is a civil Servants state ,I must improve the people of the state if they give me their mandate ,the issue of wages and none payment of salaries as at when due will no longer be a problem.”
On the silence nature of the party in the state as compared to the opposition party the people’s Democratic Party(PDP),the governorship candidate debunked the insinuation as he said “we are not quiet, is part of our strategies ,the campaign of APC had moved beyond party matter is now campaign of individual trying to suppress the people of plateau state against the people of plateau.”
He however said that the people of Plateau are dissatisfied with the happenings in the state which is the reason we are gradual as the matter is now beyond the party and now that of Plateau people, and added that he will open his campaign office on Friday at which he shall unveiled his mission.
On All Progressive Congress call to the people of Plateau, the governorship aspirant in the state urged the people to keep faith with the party by voting for him in the coming election as the governor of plateau state as he said” ours to the people of plateau state is that the APC government in the state is going to be different government altogether”, he added that APC government in the state is on rescue mission of rebuilding the state and reiterated the party commitment to be fair to all irrespective of tribe, religion and ethnic affiliation.
On security Hon Lalong said as it is presently, the security of the state is seriously under threat occasioned by the recent conduct of people’s Democratic party (PDP) governorship primaries in the state caused by the action of an individual the people Of the state gave their mandate and turned the mandate to something else.
He said where there is no justice and equity there cannot be security, according to him” unless we do the right thing, the issue of insecurity is bound to continue.”
