APC Decries Non Compliance Of PDP To Electoral Act In Plateau

The Secretary  of All Progressive Congress, APC, Barr.Bashir   Musan-sati has decried the noncompliance of PDP to the electoral act as worrisome by calling on state government, INEC to deploy sensitive materials in time to prevent  unnecessary delay in the voting  exercise.

He commended the Independent Electoral  Commission, INEC, for lifting  campaign  after the  Saturday  postponement  of Presidential election by appealing to supporters  of APC to prepare vote to come out and vote  integrity.

Speaking to some session of the media at his Residence in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau  ,Musan-sati expressed confidence in victory come this weekend.

He said, “I was highly disappointed with the issue of   INEC postponing the election  but it was a blessing  to us in Plateau  State in disguise  because  of what we witness the opposition PDP paraded over 30 lawyers which  is a bridge  of the country electoral act “.

Barr Bashir  explained that  the INEC have done what is highly  patriotic is better to stop and take correction  and prevent the breakdown  of law and order  rather  than  go ahead, we see so many  things  ,when I was at the  CBN to collect, PDP were there with many lawyers  when security  ask them to leave they refuse  just to cause  problem.

According to him, they  went on checking  everything especially the materials  they almost took position  then I raised  alarm  and in swept  reaction  the deputy chairman of IPAD quickly  ask them to live but they were still  hanging  around  ,in case this  election continue  there should  be litigation to be contain with.

Bashir Musan-sati reiterated that  the challenges of Saturday was due to  not availability of Plateau Central and Northern  Senatorial  election  ballot papers  which will have bring about  kiosk and 8000 Presidential election materials was said  to have been  missing  from  Langtang North  LGA.

He stressed  that ,we have to be better prepare for the forthcoming elections, this is completely out of the guidelines of INEC, campaign should be stop 24 hours before election because section 9 subsection I of the electoral act so now we have enough  time to embark on Campaign.

Bashir noted that the ballot papers arrived polling units successfully but caution against  plan to manipulate  the results by PDP which  they have done in Abia ,we can’t allow them here in Plateau State to rig .

We will insist that each local governments  should  ask to know  the number  of ballot papers send to them with  a clear mandate  to mindful of checking the agents card.
