APC Candidate Vincent Venmak Urges Tribunal To Declare Him Winner Of Langtang North/South Rep

The All Progressives Congress ,(APC) candidate  for Langtang North/South Federal Constituency ,Hon. Bulus Vincent Venmak has given his witness statement on oaths  urging the tribunal to declared him winner of the February, 25th 2023 National Assembly Election held in Langtang north and south respectively .

The counsel to the petitioners ,Edward Pwajok  has called on the petitioner  that he  will call to be star  witness to testify in its petition at the National assembly  Election Petition Court.

Pwajok explained that the matter was adjourned today Tuesday for hearing session after the conclusion of  prehearing and guidelines was released for proceedings  which is dated the 19/06/2023 were he adopted   .

The petitioners Edward Pwajok also seeks the leave of the court to tender some documents which already have been pleaded in pursuant to the petitioner table of documents which already was served on all respondents and subject to the convenient of the court as he tender them through the Bar .

According to him,the series of the lists of documents which was marked as exhibits P1 to P23 which gave them notice of scheduled but P10,P14,15 were witness statements each .

However ,during the cross examination session the ExChairman of Langtang South LGA ,Hon.Bulus Vincent Venmak told the tribunal that he is a businessman and a politician and a holder of SSCE ,Vincent identified his witness statements through signature .

He disputed that the PDP didn’t have Exco in Plateau State so can’t sponsored any candidate during the February and March general elections held in Plateau State .

According to him ,all votes of the winner ,Hon .Beni Butmak Lar are wasted vote and the tribunal should disqualify her and declare him winner of the February and March elections held in Langtang south, North as the only authentic and credible person that secure valid votes cast .

He kept the tribunal that he never belief that the PDP have structure in Plateau State but while on cross examination by the 2nd respondent Uguala on his paragraphs 25 &31 on present in all the 352 polling units the petitioner argued that he was only 42 polling units during the voting exercise .

He asked him if all the agents of the APC in the 352 polling units were dead ,Vincent confirmed that non of them is dead and P1,P4 documents were brought to him whether a bye election was conducted in Langtang north and south on the 26th of February ,2023 he says no .

He stressed that he is yet to be clear whether PDP is a dully register political party with INEC and they claim purported winner  

The party said that it would call more witness and would need three days for the witness to testify.

Pwajok  said that documents that would be relied on by each party had been exchanged between the parties.

The court fixed adjournment to the 22nd of June, 2023 .
