Ahead of the forthcoming voters registration exercise and the issuance of permanent voter cards in Nasarawa state by the Independent National Electoral commission, a front-line woman politician in Nasarawa state has called on eligible women and men alike in the state to turn out en masses to register ahead of next year general election.
Hajiya Lantana Mohammed Ozegya in an exclusive interview appealed to electorate in Nasarawa North constituency to come out in large number to acquire their permanent voter’s card, The top contender under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress in her statement described voters card has the only tool to elect the right choice.
Lantana who is vying for House of Assembly seat in Doma North promise to beam her searchlight on education, electricity, employment and empowerment amongst others, The woman politician while commenting on the twelve years of the PDP ruling the state and the three year reign of governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, Hajiya Lantana eulogized the APC helmsman for bringing in new ground into the polity of the state.
“There is no comparison between the twelve years of PDP and three years of Al-Makura in times of physical development ranging from township road cut across the length and breadth of Local Government headqurater, establishment of Taa’l Model school ,rejuvenation of the health sector”, She added.
The woman politician described the current governor as a bridge builder, generous in the execution of projects that has a direct impact on the lives of the citizenry, Lantana Ozegya called on the people of the state to embrace for the progress of the state.
