Musa (Mayo-Belwa), Hon. Usman Jubril Yelwa ( Ganye Constituency) and Hon. Adamu Usman (Toungo). These members lost their seats owing to their inability to get the maximum delegates votes from their various constituencies.

However, over 10 members, including the former acting governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who would not be returning back to the state legislature because they are either eyeing the national assembly seats in their constituency or have been penciled for some political appointments in the next democratic dispensation. Prominent among them are the former acting governor and speaker of the state assembly who is not seeking election into any office to enable him prosecute his appeal over the ruling which re-instates the incumbent governor of the state Barrister Bala James Ngillari
