Academic Board of Isa Mustapha  Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia  Approves 2nd November For Resumption

The academic Board of Isa Mustapha Agwai l Polytechnic, Lafia has approved November 2, 2020, for reopening of the institution.

 

This following the directive by the State Government approval for reopening of all Tertiary Institutions in the State through the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology on 26th October 2020.

 

The Academic Board said the reopening of the Polytechnic was with effect from Monday 2nd November 2020.

 

The announcement was contained in a press statement signed by the Registrar, Zamani Habu Ibrahim, and made available to Journalists by the Public Relations Officer of IMAPOLY, Lafia.

 

The state-directed all staff and students to comply strictly with COVID-19 safety protocols as follows:

  1. Temperature check at the main entrance.
  2. Wearing of face masks on Campus.

3 . Washing of hands /Sanitizers at the main entrance and designated points on Campus.

  1. Observe Social Distancing.

 

It further reminded all staff, students, and members of the Polytechnic Community that the Orientation and Matriculation Ceremony for the 2019/ 2020 academic session for newly admitted students of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia will hold on Thursday 5th November 2020.

 

The Orientation Programme is to hold from 9:00 am to11:00 am while the Matriculation Ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.

 

Students are directed to conclude their registrations before the matriculation/ orientation which is compulsory for all newly admitted students.

 

The Registrar however hinted that matriculation ceremony is compulsory for HND 1 and ND.
