Former Member Representing Langtang North/South Federal Constituency ,Hon. Beni Butmak Lar has described her mother,Prof.Mary Lar as a “loving God-fearing woman who raised many, including the nomadic Fulani,”
She said , Mama loved for every child made her introduce Nomadic education in Nigeria to help emancipate the children of the poor, vulnerable Fulani that live in primitive communities in Nigeria.
Beni Lar in an interview, says Plateau State recorded the highest of educated herdsmen in Northern Nigeria best on statistics .
Adding that her selfless love is one of the reasons why the region today is boasting with a significantly literate nomadic population in the country.
The Plateau State Commissioner for Works,Hon. Joshua Ubandoma Laven has commended the Late Solomon Daushep Lar wife, Professor,/Ambassador Mary Lar as a mother to motherless children in the country for God Almighty to bless her with long life .
In their separate tribute, the Commissioner Ubandoma, reeled out some of Prof. Lar selfless sacrifice to orphans and less privilege children as a God fearing mother of all.
He disclosed that as a close associate of the Lar family who lost his biological parents, the family of Late Solomon Daushep Lar adopted him as their foster son.
“She’s the mother of the motherless,” he said. “I’m a son she never gave birth to, yet she always prayed for me and treated me like her own.”
Ubandoma reflected on his cordial relationship as he promised unalloyed loyalty to the Lar family.
He revealed, “I lost my father while still in 100-level with the University of Jos when Baba Lar took him in and gave me all the love and comfort required during his lifetime.
According to him , Late Solomon Lar, mentor and exposed him politically while he was still a child to something he saw now, is it showing him as Ra evaluation, so he needed to become who he is today .”
Ubandoma explained that Prof. Mary Lar is a compassionate and dedicated mother not just to her biological children, but to countless others, including the nomadic Fulani community.
