The Plateau State Chairman of New Nigeria Peoples Party,((NNPP) Comrade Tokji Mandin has disclosed that unless Governor Caleb Mutfwang checkmate the affairs of his cabinet members ,appointees ,commissioners ,Directors even the Local Government Chairmen as people are crying by lampooning President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is working towards one party system .
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the state of the nation ,Mandin made this disclosure in Jos .
He stated that Governor Caleb Mutfwang leadership has done credibly well in the area of peace and unity of oneness under his stewardship in the last two years within the corridor of power .
Tokji advised the governor to as a matter of concern particularly area of infrastructure and human capital development , there are a lot of job for him to do because the appointees are going contrary of not giving the citizens actual expectations of what he has done .If not the governor will have done more than what we expected in Plateau .
He revealed that as an opposition party we have say where he has done well seeing this is a progress within Plateau and the achievements read our own .
Comrade Tokji reminded that the electioneering campaign period is round the corner so by May ,2026 campaign will begin in hence so when you look at what is happening within the country to be frank there are alot of challenges from the government of today when President is trying to turn the country into one party system of which is too dangerous .
He cautioned that Mr President is surrounded by a group of sycophants that they’re not telling him the truth of reality because this country can’t have one party system but His Excellency President Bola Ahmed ,if we were practising one party system he won’t be the President of Nigeria but because there was multiparty system that is where he got his way and manner Mr president is behaving today.
According to him,they would be with hunting people with EFCC today except those who have skeletons in their carbonate then they have to be on the run to join APC.
How will he achieve what he want when there are more opposition as he is democrat as I remembered vividly when he led protest against Former President Goodluck Jonathan over fuel subsidy increase and today all what we are doing in this country bounce back taxis .
Tokji noted that withdrawing their charges look at MTN all the network the common man in Nigeria all what they needed is all these things but when he got them he/she doesn’t have any problem all what you think the opposition are watching to see what is going to happen.
He reiterated that by the God Grace before 2026 we would all know the direction we are heading to while APC are thinking on their own analysis let see how it work .
Tokji admonished voters to use their voter cards well because that is their guns ,the fight is your fingers thumb but if they cast it for APC then we are finish that equally to Plateau PDP will faced the same unless the Governor checkmates all appointees .
