400 Level Accounting Student of Nasarawa University, others Die In Road Accident -FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Commission, Keffi branch sector commandant has confirmed the death of a 400 level Accounting student of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi in a fatal road accident.
He stated this during 2017 health week organized by the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, he confirmed that a 911 lorry ram on two female students on a abridge in Keffi.
“One of the female students died immediately while the surviving student sustained degrees of bruises and was admited at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi”.
“Two female students died in two days, the other was killed by a fast moving vehicle at the flyover”.
The Road Safety Corps attributed the rising spate of road mishap to over speeding by drivers as he emphasized on the need to use speed limit meter by road users, saying speed limit would curb the degree of road fatality.
The FRSC called on the general public to key into the new policy in other to save lives, appealing to the general public to keep to the implementation date of 1st February, 2017.
