Gov Al-Makura Approves The Revitalization of 65 Primary Health Care Centers

The government of Nasarawa state in a bid to enhance quality health services delivery to people in the rural areas has approved the revitalization of 65 Primary Health Care across the state.

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura confirmed this during this year health week held at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Dr.Mohammed Usman Adis,the executive chairman of the Nasaraw State Primary Health Care Development Agency has said.

Usman who represented the chief executive said the holistic effort was to ameliorate the suffering of people at the rural areas especially those at the hard-to reach communities.

The state governor in his welcome address said the revitalization of the 65 Primary Health Care out of the existing 751 PHC in the state, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura in addition said the revitalization was in conformity with the ongoing revitalization of 10,000 Primary Health Care by the Federal government.

The Nasarawa state governor commended the management of the Federal Medical Centre under the headship of Dr.Joshua Ndom Gyan for the introduction of electronic health and medical record.

Stating that the electronic medical record would help in curtailing the inter and Intra hiccups, he affirmed that the new ground was aimed at meeting the quality service delivery.
