30 Journalists in Nasarawa State has benefited from a three day crisis management reporting which was held at De’ 1st Crown Hotel, Lafia.
The training was conducted by an International Non-Governmental Organisation “Search for Common Ground”.
The National Peace Adviser, Ema Billings harps on objective reporting of crisis.
Ema emphasize on the need to report accurately on crisis related issues in order to avoid escalation.
She identified fake and sensational reports as way of aggravating mayhem, as she challenged practitioners on the need to adhere to the code of Journalism practice.

Ema Billings tasked Journalists to accord impetus to news reporting that would foster unity peace and development.
The facilitator explained that the training was meant to help Journalists in writing reports that would promote freedom of religion.
The National Adviser on peace cautioned media practitioners to shun tribal, regional or religious sentiment.
Those in attendance promised to leave above board by discharging their duties without sentiments.
