2019: Archbishop Ozuzu Officially Flag Off Campaign As NRM Imo East Senatorial Candidate

Archbishop Edwin Ozuzu, upon his political zeal to wipe away tears in the eyes of the people of Owerri Zone in the House of Senate as the candidate of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, a party for the 2019 polls, has officially flagged off his campaign.
The US trained Religious leader, Archbishop Prof.Ozuzu, who studied abroad in combination of Sciences/Religion to save souls from the Freedom University USA and Freedom Theological Schools, was on Monday,Dec.17th 2018 at his country home, Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, officially kicked off his 2019 campaign for the position of Senate.
Archbishop Edwin’s candidacy flag off ceremony was witnessed, graced and honoured by the members of Ozuzu family, relatives, friends and well-wishers most especially all the NRM LGA party representatives in the Nine (9) LGA’s that made up Owerri zone, who respectively expressed satisfaction with height of turnout of people that pledged their unalloyed support to Prof.Ozuzu for his senatorial aspiration, come 2019.
Speaking, the Imo NRM State Party Chairman, Hon. Mike Nze, in his words, said that NRM’s mission and message to Imo people in general and Owerri zone in particular to Rescue Imo people stated that NRM would offer good governance and effective representation, come 2019.
The Imo NRM said that all the candidates of the party in 2018 shall offer real rescue and not that of the outgoing Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
He described NRM as a great party where the youths are ready to win elections.
“We have given political opportunities to the youths in active politics to showcase their electoral popularity. In NRM, we have all it takes to win elections. We have candidates for all the positions. We have already won the elections but we are just waiting for swearing in, come May 29th, 2019. We are going to produce the youngest Imo House of Assembly member of about 25 years, in 2019. We are for good governance and quality representation. Almost all the candidates from the other political parties can never quality leadership. We have men with intellectual capability who went through the Universities. In 2019, your votes must count. Do not be afraid, vote for NRM. Political crises in APC, PDP, APGA, SDP and some other parties won’t allow them to win elections because we deeply connected with divinity, whereas other parties believe in humanity”, he submitted.
The NRM State Party Boss, Hon. Nze called on the people of Owerri zone and Ndi Imo to support and vote for NRM in 2019.
Speaking also, the Imo NRM Guber Candidate for 2019, Barr. Godswill Anuchauka described the candidacy of Archbishop Ozuzu as a divine mandate and called on the Owerri Zone people to vote him into power as a Senator.
Barr. Anuchauka, therefore, described Prof.Ozuzu as an incoming Distinguished Senator for Owerri zone by the special grace of God.
The NRM Governorship flagbearer said that his party will win elections in Imo State through what he described as “God factor”, maintained that NRM has come to unseat Imo APC under Governor Rochas Okorocha, come 2019.
Barr. Anuchauka expressively condemned the outgoing Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha for his inability to provide employment to Imolites.
He alleged that there is no free education system in Imo as claimed by Governor Rochas.
The legal luminary called on Imo leaders to be telling the people the truth.
He said that NRM under his watch if elected as the next, would make the people happy through good governance such as investing into human capital, economic growth to be enforced,agro-industries and multiplicity of positive agenda.
Responding, the NRM Owerri zone senatorial candidate, Prof.Edwin Ozuzu, while addressing the crowd expressed delight to be involved in active politics which according to him is aimed and targeted at making the people rejoice.
“I have come to win an election under NRM in2019 as a Senator for Imo East Senatorial District. I am happy to flag off my2019 aspiration. My target is to restructure the country and I am capable toenact the bill into law to grant autonomy to so many agencies that would favorthe masses. As a God-fearing man, I have been chosen by divinity to rule as asenator. I will bring a surplus of good tidings to the people of Owerri zone.All my rivalries will be defeated by the spiritual strength of the AlmightyGod”, Archbishop Ozuzu, stated.
He therefore called and appealed to the people of Owerri zone to go and obtain their voters’ cards as such electoral power would enable them to vote out bad leaders in PDP, APGA, APC and vote into power NRM in 2019.
Finally, those in attendance include all the Imo NRM State Working Committee members, lovers of the party, community people from within Obazu, and the Traditional Ruler of Obazu, HRH Eze Francise Elendu Agunwa,( Ezi-ihe I of Ezinihitte, Eze Obazu). Also the elder brother to the Archbishop, High Chief Sir. Francise Ozuzu, a former LGA Executive Chairman, the former Campaign Director of Mazi Okey Ezeh, formerly in APGA, expressed great pleasure on the emergence of his younger brother as the Senatorial Candidate of NRM for Owerri zone 2019 and therefore promised to ensure that Prof.Ozuzu as the next Senator for the people Imo East.
