Nasarawa 2019: Christian Youths Leaders In Nasarawa Endorses David Ombugadu For Governorship

Ahead of 2019 elections in search of the most competent, experienced and best-performing candidate for Nasarawa State Governorship seat, Christian Youths in Nasarawa has endorsed David Ombugadu the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as the candidate, it will give its total support.

The All Christian Youths who gathered in Karu Local Government to endorsed Hon David Ombugadu , said it is the only candidate who stands out to unite the people of the state irrespective of religion, ethnic and other affiliations.

According to the Spokesperson of the Christian Youth Leaders, Evangelist Timothy Nasso of ERCC Lafia and Conference President said; we have deemed him most eligible to run following unbelievable performance as House of Representatives member, saying “it takes only a miracle for such a Young politician to perform more than some sitting governors.”

“We resolved to reward him with the seat of the Governor in Nasarawa State, with the assurance that if a man is faithful in little more shall be committed unto him as the scriptures said.”

“We are very happy and proud to tell you that we stand here to declare our decision in this regard. We are ready to win and we will win these elections,” he said before finishing his speech in a resounding applause from cheerful Youth Leaders.

“Finally, we appreciate all efforts put in place by Clerics, Elders, and stakeholders. Any other choice outside Hon David Ombugadu is unacceptable to us as Christian youths in Nasarawa State. We are therefore structured to deliver every Christian vote to Hon. Davematics Emmanuel Ombugadu. It’s time to face reality and stop hiding behind one finger.

Nasarawa State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Mr. David Ombugadu, in his speech urged Nigerians to vote wisely in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.

Ombugadu said this at the Coalitions of Christian Group for Good Governance, “In Nigeria and Diaspora” with the theme: Public Engagement on Politics with Nigeria Christian Youth Groups and Critical Stakeholders towards Credible Candidate for 2019”.

Earlier, The Vice President, Global Christians Network, Dr. Bolaji Akinyemi said that nation building does not belong only to political leadership but also to Nigerians who live each day with hope and anticipation of a better future.

Akinyemi, also the President (PVC), Naija told the group of young intellectuals that building a nation is every person’s responsibility.

Prophet Isa El-Buba, the Spiritual Leaders of Evangelical Believers Outreach Ministries International (EBOMI) Jos called on the Nigerian people to use their voter’s card to vote in, credible leaders that will unite Nigeria and has respect for all the people of Nigeria irrespective of religion or ethnic affiliations.

He further made reference to biblical choice of leadership saying thus: “Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David” 1 Sam. 16:13.”

Engr Daniel Kadzai, the President of the Coalition of Christian Groups for Good Governance in Nigeria and Diaspora (COCGOG) in his response said, we have therefore build a robust strategy aimed at meeting all the action groups to support Davematics. Our stakeholders should please make haste to close ranks and be in one spirit and action and jettison unnecessary distractors.
