Zone 2 Area L World Bank Neighborhood Association Holds 2021 End Of The Year Party

As part of their efforts to strengthen love, unity, peace, and above all to enhance effective security of lives and properties of the individuals, residents, in the area as neighbors, the newly elected Executive Members of “Zone 2 Area L World Bank Neighborhood Association” at the Housing Estate Owerri, was on last Sunday, Dec.5th, 2021, joyfully celebrated the 2021 End of the year party amidst praises, thanksgiving to God.

The ceremony which recorded a huge success attracted so many people living at Zone II Area L World Bank who gathered as a community under the Chairmanship of the Neighborhood Association, Chief Sir. Kyrian Igwebuike aka Abubaeke.

 

In his remark, the Chairman of the Neighborhood Association, Chief Igwebuike, expressed satisfaction on the lives of every member of the community, added that it is not easy to be alive and to see the end of the year,2021.

 

“We have gathered and glorified our God Almighty who kept us alive in the land of the living and we are happy to return all the glories to God. We are not worthy to be alive but it is by the special grace of God. His infinite mercies have brought us to this end. Therefore, we must be grateful to God in everything”, Igwebuike praised.

 

“I am poised to deliver. I am not up to four (4) months after my election as your Chairman, but I have promised to offer quality leadership service. We, as the Executive Members of Zone 2 Area L World Bank Neighborhood Association under my watch shall never disappoint you as a community”, the Chairman assured.

 

“All we need is your collective support. You are hereby informed, notified, and advised to always attend our meetings so as to enhance development, peace, and unity”, Igwebuike begged.

 

Speaking further, Chief Abubaeke, who spoke on the general interests of the community as it concerns the development, hinted that his administration is willing and ready to support the neighborhood in the area of security, even as he reassured expressively that the era of insecurity in the neighborhood are history.

 

Igwebuike happily seized the opportunity and unveiled his infrastructural projects of over #1.7m which would be completed by the next year,2022.

 

Adding his voice, the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Marcel U. Ikpa, (Omeudo) who is also the Patron of Zone 2 Area L World Bank Neighborhood Association, expressed satisfaction with the leadership of Igwebuike, even as he promised to the growth of the community.

 

Chief Ikpa, therefore called on the need to love each other as neighbors, noted that unity and love is the best thing that can happen to any given set of people living in the locality.

 

” I am happy to be part of the neighborhood. We are progressives. We need effective security support from the government. We have our own vigilante group working effectively. We want the government to assist us with security logistics”, Ikpa submitted.

 

He, therefore, advised all the residents to love each other as they loved themselves.

 

Highlights of the 2021 End of the year party was the unveiling of the year 2022 developmental projects of over #1.7m, recognition of the twosome patrons in the persons of Chief Marcel Ikpa and Chief Nnamdi Olebara, amidst jubilation, fun fare, and pleasantries amongst residents of the area.
