Fintiri Congratulates Oyebanji On Re-Election, Describes Victory As Well-Deserved

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has congratulated Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his re-election for a second term as Governor of Ekiti State, describing the victory as a reflection of the people’s confidence in his leadership.

In a statement issued by Humwashi Wonosikou the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Fintiri said Oyebanji’s electoral success was well deserved, citing his achievements in governance, development, and service delivery during his first term in office.

According to the governor, the renewed mandate demonstrates the trust and support the people of Ekiti State have for Oyebanji’s administration and its commitment to improving their welfare.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Adamawa State, I extend my warmest congratulations to my brother, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, on his resounding re-election.

This mandate is a clear testament to the trust and confidence the people of Ekiti have in your capacity to continue delivering the dividends of democracy,” Fintiri said.

He commended Oyebanji for promoting inclusive governance, peace, and development, noting that his second term would provide an opportunity to consolidate on the gains recorded in Ekiti State over the past four years.

Fintiri also expressed optimism that the governor’s renewed mandate would strengthen inter-state collaboration and contribute to efforts aimed at building a more prosperous Nigeria.

Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, the Adamawa governor prayed for peaceful and credible polls across the country, urging Nigerians to support leaders who will promote unity, security, and democratic values.
