Ziphion Chrysanthus  Urges The Electorate To Vote Wisely For Credible Leaders In 2023

The People Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the Federal House of Representatives, Pankshin, Kanam and Kanke,(PKK) Federal Constituency of Plateau State, Hon Ziphion Chrysanthus Terkop has urged electorates to vote wisely for leaders that understand the situation of Nigeria and are ready to profile lasting solution to our insecurity and also reduce indiscriminate borrowing in the name of subsidies.

Trekop stated this in Jos while in an audience with journalists on the state of the nation in Jos .

He disclosed that no place is safe anymore, you’re in your house not safe, you can’t travel by roads, you can’t travel by train and even our train which so much money was spent are not functioning and are grounded.

Chrysanthus lamented that bandits and terrorists have held us, hostage, in our own country and the same people are shouting, saying that they’re coming to rescue this country, it is very sad, pathetic, and quite unfortunate the country is at a stage of collapse but if the country would borrow so much we should be able to measures . We should feel the impact of all this borrowing.

According to him, today you hear I can’t even turn my television you hear 5 killed here and 10 killed and it is a norm, and it is quite sad and pathetic, and this is what we all found ourselves in as a nation and I pray God will direct us to elect leaders that will take us out of this mess, a quagmire.

Terkop explained that God has blessed this country with crude oil in this country and today I have never seen a refinery where crude oil is been processed yet thousands of barrels extracted sold out to other nations, we still use our money to buy this product after they’ve processed and at the end, the government will take out trillions of Naira in the name of subsidies.

He described the subsidy by the Nigeria government as a big scam, we are facing a very difficult, precarious situation in this country, we don’t have money, but we have been going out to borrow and the federal government is still taking N1.6 billion to buy vehicles to our neighbouring country who have done this to us.

We still import crude petroleum products and pay heavy money in the name of subsidies, we have the refinery, but if you look at the amount spent in the name of subsidies, how much will it take us to revamp back our refinery ?, how much will cost us to build a refinery, I pray that in the next coming elections Nigerian should wake up from their slumber and elect people who came out genuinely to serve this country and salvage us from total collapse and those that might actually understand the plight of our poor vulnerable masses and profile solution to it.

Speaking about his forthcoming contest for the seat of the House of Representatives, Chrysanthus stressed that he is emotionally and psychologically prepared to defeat any candidates which I saw the election as a normal contest. “I think I have whatever it takes to contest with Yusuf Adamu Babayo Gagdi and can’t be intimidated by anyone’s credentials “.

However, “I have presented myself for the people to carefully make the choice of who would give them quality representation and he also did the same so it is normal for the people to come out on 23 of February, 2023 to make choice from the alternative presented before them so if the people said I should go who am I to say no but if they chose otherwise, I take my bow period”, he stated.

Chrysanthus raised concern that the present country Nigeria is at the point of collapsing when I say collapse, I meant total collapse and I laugh when I see some set of people and the same people who have thrown this country into the same mess of confusion are saying all manner of statements, I feel sad.

He maintained that they’re coming to rescue themselves and their pockets, are you coming to rescue the country or from your own self because I was going through the internet to check the debt profile of this country what I saw is quite lamenting.

Chrysanthus added that what he saw in the debt profile of Nigeria in the 1st quarter of 2022 is very disturbing the figure jumped from 39 trillion to 49.6 trillion and yet the security situation is worse even with the huge borrowing nothing has been improved.
