The General Manager (G.M) of the Nasarawa State Water Board, Kana Ahmed Abubakar,, has warned government officials against trespassing on the the plot of land or face the full Trespass of the law.
The G.M gave the hint during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists at the headquarters of NSWB, Lafia.
Kana said the encroachment of the State Board property in Akwanga, Keffi,Toto,added that the trespassing of the hilltop at Akwanga affected the quality of water.
“Some Government officials like Yakubu Kwanta,A serving Commissioner in the State was involved in the act,the destroy our wash out reservoir .
According to him,A District Head of Toto was involved in the act,In Akwanga Local Government, Yakubu Kwanta build in front of Water Board building,We now use the exit of the building to access our property,he added.
The G M affirmed that in Lafia,a respected traditional ruler build a shopping mail by Abdun Kura and the only way to retrieve part of the property was to fenced it.
He further stated that the plot of Water Board was encroach by building a Cold room along Antau
