Zhattau To APC: Don’t Celebrate PDP Failure Over ” No Structure”  In Plateau

The nonexisting structure of the Peoples  Democratic Party,(PDP) for not conducting credible congresses in Plateau State might turn out to consume the All Progressives Congress,(APC) state chapter.

The recent election petition tribunal judgment by, Hon. Justice Bello Tukur Mohammed was a clear demonstration that any political party that goes against its congresses shall be declared illegal.

However, in the case of APC Exco, they agreed on an out-of-court settlement with the aggrieved members that purchased the forms to contest chairmanship, State Secretary, Public relations officer, and key positions.

The law said,” The matter was referred to out of court settlement with the aggrieved members to share the following seats, Deputy National Secretary, Deputy Youth Leader of North-Central,13 Wards Chairman, Five LGs and refunding of legal fees “.

That arrangement has been jettisoned completely and they were blocked from benefiting from APC Exco settlement and they have reinstituted suit against APC Exco challenging.

The Election Petition Tribunal paved the way for the aggrieved APC factional leaders to carefully beam their searchlight on whether the matter is preelection or sponsorship and nomination of candidates to contest for an election in Nigeria.

Similarly, we approach the state high court as the only court that can entertain the issues of wards, LGs, and State congresses of which Justice Gang ordered that the matter should be settled amicably but up to now, we were forgotten, and neglected after years of APC Exco.

Why we decided to pick the files back to the same court was to let the court understand that the case wasn’t preelection but issues congresses that produced the governorship flagbearer and the entire state assembly, reps, and senatorial districts in Plateau State that called for urgent attention to rectify our stand.

We examine the current political development and remain firm in seeking the court’s interpretation of abusing the court order to share vital positions within the party both at the state and national levels.

According to Maimagani Innocent Zhattau, it’s not surprising that the impunity and non-adherence to court order was known with APC but they’re now claiming to stand as the beneficiary of the court by Hon Bello Mohammed Tukur judgment including a series of appeal court judgment.

We are only asking the Chairman of APC and his Exco Rufus Bature to tender evidence of the form they purchased to contest the number of votes cast and where INEC monitors and validates their congresses.

We have been denied and sidelined from the activities of APC in Plateau State without any reasonable blame so we are appealing to the judiciary to save the country’s democracy from collapsing under the present dispensation of APC impunity and corruption that bedeviled the structure.

Zhattau lamented that our situation in Plateau state is,” pot calling cattle black “, we are all sinners in the eyes of the law and whoever comes to equity must come with clean hands and APC is suffering the same fate of injustice.

The speed at which APC ran to approach the tribunal to contest the no structure of PDP had provoked political pundits to return to the earlier agreement reached before Justice Gang ordered to settle us.
