The incumbent President of the Za’ar Development Association (ZDA), Engr Isuwa Galla who is also the acting chairman of PENGASON Warri chapter, Delta State very much competent to retain his position in the forthcoming Election of the association slated for December this year.
Our Correspondent gathered that Engineer Galla, the acting chairman of PENGASON Warri chapter, Delta State has finally declared his intention to seek reelection.
Speaking to journalists at her residence in Bauchi on Sunday, Mrs. Promise Alheri Luka described Galla as the preferred candidate.
She said, “Galla is a detribalized man of peace with zero difference, Gallas good work and dedication to duty as ZDA president will stand him exceptional to retain his position in the November election”.
“Before becoming the ZDA president, I could remember one of his achievements as Galla Foundation in Tafawa Balewa, Bauchi State where he employed teachers to be teaching Students in some difficult subjects, such as mathematics”, she added.
According to her, the Foundation also offers free education where every end of the year, it sets a competition for students in some selective subject in which those that emerged first, second, and the third are given a price of at least 100,000, 150,000, and 200,000 respectively.
Luka further said apart from that, payment of hospital bills for less privileged people in Za’ar land, free jamb registration, paying school fees in various Universities, Polytechnics, and colleges, disbursement of 600 bags of fertilizer to Za’ar sons and daughters in some States like Kaduna, Plateau, Nassarawa and Taraba which is also part of his intervention.
In a completely demystified era from the past; Gallas administration’s led ZDA has been able to bring in new ideas, innovations, and developments that have simplified the operations of ZDA on the bedrock of fairness, transparency, accountability, action and results-oriented. The watchword has been the critical responsibility of ZDA which is the Development for People and the community.
They also stood in their grounds that the Zaar voices and cry must be heard, struggle as a people must be recognized and every Zaar Sons and Daughters must have a sense of belonging and Justice Upholding the Right to life, Freedom of Movement, on the
Religion,Peaceful coexistence and respect for the rule of law.
On his part, Comrd Mbami Musa said that there were a lot of challenges in Za’ar land before the coming of Galla as ZDA president but with his doggedness and vision, the narrative has now change.
Mbami said that some projects abandoned by his predecessors have been raised up to standard and completed.
He further said Engineer Galla has succeeded in creating unity between the Za’ar Muslim Association as well as other tribes towards peaceful coexistence in the area.
According to him, Galla has also succeeded in bringing his people closer to the state government by creating a cordial relationship between Zaar people and the State Government, especially under Governor Bala Mohammed.
He was able to lead a Zaar delegation for a meeting with His Excellency Sen.Bala Mohammed the Executive Governor of Bauchi State before and after his election as Governor and many issues were discussed and promises made have intimated all people in high places, top Government officials, opinion leaders on the development and the quest are still on.
“It’s only in Galla’s tenure that we have a cordial relationship with Muslim and other Tribes in Bauchi State, so he should retain the seat,” said Mbami.
