Yusuf Dantalle Emerges IPAC New National Chairman

The Chairman of the Interparty Advisory Council of Nigeria, (IPAC) Plateau State Chapter, Hon.Abubakar Dogara has said, that the Interlocutory injunction suspending the swearing-in ceremony of the newly constituted Executives of the National Body might soon be resolved to pave the way for new dawn towards achieving meaningful progress across the six geopolitical zones.

Abubakar stated this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in his office at Murtala Mohammed Way in Jos North Local Government area of Plateau State.

He disclosed the willingness of the new National Chairman to provide the desired leadership that would accommodate all the political parties and to ensure parties hold firm to their manifesto guidelines in electioneering campaigns and in executing them accordingly.

Dogara admonished the aggrieved who lost the election to eschew politics of bitterness and anger by embracing the winner because elections were conducted and then a winner emerged in the person of , Hon.Yusuf Dan-Tale as IPAC National Chairman without dispute on the exercise.

According to him, he employed the former National Chairman, Alh . Sani Yabagi the outcome was he failed because the exercise was not transparent so he approached the court that issue a restraining order.

He assured that the national IPAC would soon resolve its lingering internal crises as an interparty Advisory Council to all the registered political parties in Nigeria and by implication INEC is also involved because they monitor the exercise of IPAC as a creation towards bringing an end.

He also stressed that the leadership of Yusuf Dan-Tale has demonstrated readiness to ensure that all the local Government Areas in Nigeria constitute Exco to pilot their affairs by conducting credible elections and monitoring governance at all levels.

However, in his opinion, they are extending the election to a zonal cut across the six geopolitical zones for IPAC to establish structures to address and the new leadership promised to take it to the grassroots and constitute a regulatory body.

Abubakar added that the last régime might have forgotten or neglected it as the presence administration has a peculiar strategy to resolve challenges of members not understanding the issues of seminars, and workshops across the 36 states including Abuja.

He has indicated an interest in running an open-door policy where everyone can also contribute to governing the people and most Excos are very confident in the leadership of Yusuf Dan-Tale which anchors on transparency and review of the code of conduct which has not been available to members.

They also plan to introduce women and youth directorate where we have understood the rejig especially elected officials embark on oversight function as majority vote members needed to go round monitor the appropriate projects executed.

Hon.Abubakar called on the Exco to ensure that they stick to the rule of the game political update in IPAC and support activities that promote the unity of oneness.

Dogara challenges the political parties to follow the manifesto of the judiciously which is enshrined in the guidelines that conspiracy was alleged to be in Kano state Governor of NNPP of Abba Yusuf not member so that parties would avoid unnecessary dispute.

He noted that the exercise shall bring all political parties to ensure the maintenance of law in the code of conduct or ban completely.
