Youth Leadership Of Irete:  I Am In-Charge As Duly Elected IYA President-Akuebionwu

On Friday, October.1st 2021, the duly elected Youth President of Irete Youths Association, IYA, Comr. Sir. Chibuzo Emmanuel Akuebionwu, KSJI, through his media platform, expressively cleared that he remains the IYA President.

 

The above assertion was a sequel to some media publication made (online) that is going viral.

 

Upon that viral news flying, the leadership of IYA deemed it fit, necessary and thereby debunked all the rumours making the round that President Akuebionwu has been impeached.

 

According to the statement signed and released to the public, the IYA President, Sir. Emmanuel, alongside his duly elected Executive Members from across the 18 villages that made up Irete, unequivocally stated it clearly that there was no time any impeachment process took place.

 

“Noted that the 36 delegates (Village Youth Chairmen and Secretaries) of Irete who participated during the free, fair and most transparent election exercise that brought Akuebionwu winner as the IYA President have collectively endorsed the leadership of Akuebionwu , and 13 Executive Members of IYA in solidarity are solidly behind the current administration of the IYA President”.

 

The Statement reads, ” We, the entire Youths, Critical Stakeholders and Executives of Irete Youths Association, IYA, ably led by Comr. Sir. Akuebionwu Chibuzor Emmanuel, as the President,  categorically states that the entire people of Irete especially the youths should debunk all the rumors spreading that Akuebionwu has been impeached. It is false information peddled by some unscrupulous elements and enemies of the current peace and tranquility in the land of Irete.

 

“To this end, all the inhabitants of Irete should please disregard all rumours against the office of the IYA President. That our elected Youth President, Sir. Akuebionwu has not been suspended nor impeached but still in active leadership as the President until when his tenure will elapse”.

 

The Press Statement, therefore, expressed delight and satisfaction with the leadership of Sir. Akuebionwu, added that Irete is a peaceful home for the development of human beings and other infrastructures but due to some selfish persons with their evil intentions to breach the obvious peace in our God-given and beloved community, Irete.

 

“It is very vital to support the IYA President because the growth of Irete starts with you and the youths’ leadership”.
