The former Chairman of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau state Dr Haruna Dabin has disclosed the reason why PDP loose the governorship election in Plateau state under the totalitarian leadership Jang and manipulation of tribalism.
Dabin stated this in Jos while granting audience to our correspondent at his resident in Anglo Jos, channel 7.
He said, his refusal to support the candidature of Late Sen.GNS Pwajok was safe the citizens of the state from Jang slavery and dictatorship agenda.
Dr Dabin described Metuh as a refined gentleman who have contributed a lot to the development of Nigeria democracy.
He condemned the arrest of PDP spokesman Oliseh Metuh as politically motivated to destroy the party legacy under the leadership of APC led regime.
He said plateau citizens would have been slaves to the immediate past governor Jonah David Jang if that decision was not taken for the interest of the next generations unborn; we oppose Pwajok to unite the people of the state.
Dr Haruna Dabin stressed that APC is not a political party but is a collections of desperate group of persons who are so desperate to gab power at all cost.
Dabin,” pointing that the deputy governor Prof Sonny Tyoden contested under the platform of PDP in the primaries when he discover that he couldn’t won he left to join APC.
He added that our worst members in PDP left to APC so we hope to bounce back in 2019 ,it is out of provocation that the people vote for APC government ,you don’t take an accused person in handcuff the international law forbid that unless the person demonstrate some high degree of violence.
The ability of the APC led government to bring the spokesman of the PDP to court in handcuff that along received general condemnation.
However, said Oiseh Metuh case has brought an end to the fight against corruption that trail the claims of the APC which show that they have formerly declared their lack of political philosophy see the level arbitration going on.
According to him, the arrest of the former NSA granted bail and rearrested several times is an indication that those who come to see Dasuki were also arrested including the close associate .
APC is now telling us that the era of politicking is ready labelling and cajoling with intimidation to make show that the opposition is not in existence, indicating there are no plan to rule rather than threatening leadership is not good for democracy, he explained.
Dabin reminded them that APC is a creation of PDP because PDP created a lot of space that they were expanded exclusiveness of politicians, APC cannot destroy opposition look at the illegality and watch the legality whether there is equity or not Goodluck Jonathan political hero.
They targeted at creating confusion so you end up fighting yourself, I don’t thinking PDP fail it is democratically right to make statements.
The fact that resources was spent former President Goodluck Jonathan brought credibility to Nigeria democracy and APC benefited from the gesture.
“I don’t jump to another political platform and believe PDP will take over Plateau state in 2019, APC is not a party is a collection of desperate people who are eager to be power”.
He said the failure of PDP is the beginning of the failure Nigeria because it is the only party that has national outlook.
