- Says Current DG, Onaeko has failed to transform ITF
The former Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Director-General Prof Sambo Wapmuk has disclosed that the industrial training fund was better managed under his regime as the DG.
He reiterated that he never wish to join issues with the embattled boss who failed to used her experience to transform the place for quality service delivery.
Wapmuk tasked Governor Simon Lalong to give more priority toward revamping of vocational education for him to tackle grassroots poverty.
Speaking to Journalists on Friday shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of new commissioners at Little Rayfield, Government house, Jos, he expressed confidence that with the team of experienced personality of these commissioners there is need to emphasis on capital development, creating jobs.
“We don’t have a well skills trained youths center in the local governments and we also hope that the prime target is Agriculture which is very important that will help our people to development “.
He noted that youths in Nigeria need to be re-orientated considering the hardships and lack of job opportunity.
