The Presidential Candidate of Providence People Congress, PPC, Hon Victor Mainasara has expressed fear over the high level of poverty that the country rank first among the committee of nations and center of the most corrupt people in the world.
The Presidential candidate and former People Democratic Party Chieftain who is now the Plateau state Governorship Candidate, Hon Dr. Haruna Dabin were presented with the PPC flags to run for 2019 and if given the mandate to participate and will pursue the ideology of the party which is excellence lifestyle , core values to promote the tenets of democracy .
They disclosed this during the party rally and presentation of the party flags held at British American Junction Jos on Saturday.
The Presidential candidate revealed that his reason for coming to join the race of presidential ticket of PPC is to use his wealth of experience to reposition the country for service delivery.
Mainasara enjoyed all Nigerians to vote for him and he equally promised to end the incessant clashes between farmers and herders by promoting peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse ethnic nationalities in the country.
According to him, enough is enough of these killings of innocent citizens we all need to go back to our core values of respecting the sanctity of human life; we have structures on the ground so it is possible to restore peace against in Nigeria.
Governorship Candidate Hon, Haruna Dabin said, “we are gathered together on this party platform as servant leaders, because we fear God, love humanity, and are willing to make sacrifices for the nation, thereby laying a more enduring foundation for its destined greatness “.
He added they have denounced the terror of moneybags, godfathers and the evil practice of rituals but now we are committed to the pursuit of excellence as a lifestyle and we shall not compromise on our core values nor engage in unwholesome competition.
Dabin noted that the PPC respect our plurality, mutually benefit from our diversity, while being guided by our party philosophy in order to become the choice for the new Nigeria.
We are determined that we shall overcome these challenging days of our nationhood only by Providence and in the coming days, we shall ascend the offices of governance and authority by Providence.
He said the party reaffirms its resolve to return Plateau state to the people, we shall elect a God-fearing people into the leadership of the state and then we will provide for everybody need but not the freed of the few.
Dabin stated further that, they shall reclaim and restore the Plateau not only for it to become the home of peace but the heart of peace in Nigeria so that God will win this victory for himself in mercy and for his honour and glory.
