We Are Poised To Help The Poor, Needy, Helpless-GreatMen Group

A very strong and formidable socio-cultural organization in Imo State ably registered and well known as “Great Men Association of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter”, last Sunday,Dec.9th 2018,held their association’s maiden end of the year party in a grand style in Owerri.

The Association’s Coordinator, Deacon Emeka Igwe, expressed satisfaction with the height of development, unity and love amongst them as a newly established union, even as he also expressed delight for the successful end of the year party organised by the leadership of  association, which he described as a show of love, solidarity for the union’s to  progress since its establishment.

He disclosed that the association was formed six (6) months ago to render financial assistance to people especially those trading or doing other business in Owerri to support them grow the various ways of earning income.

Deacon Igwe,while speaking, said the association is poised to fostering peace, unity, love and unity amongst members.

“We formed the association to help each other especially our members who are traders operating at the Douglas Road, Rotibi Street, Industrial cluster area and Nwaorie lane all in Owerri “,Igwe stated.

Also, the Chief Secretary of Imo Great Men Association, Comr. Chukwuemeka Orjiako, from Eziama in Ikeduru LGA of Imo State, said that the association was formed under God’s direction and mandate to help mankind especially the people around the city of Owerri for service to humanity.

“To help people especially traders operating around Owerri capital city who cannot afford to fund their small scale businesses mostly those who are registered members of Great Men”, the secretary disclosed.

He expressed optimism that the association would be established branches in all parts of the Federation to render help to many Nigerians into all forms of businesses.

The Secretary further revealed that the association is running on absolute free registration policy, maintained that their doors and windows are open to welcome, receive and accommodate all those who have passion and interest to help those who have financial problems of venturing into business, provided that they are transparent, honest and not people of questionable characters.

Adding his voice, the founder of the association, Mr. Chuks Emeka Igwe, from Ebonyi State, resident in Owerri for his business, said he formed the body with some executive members to help those who can even afford to start up a business, so that they would also help others to grow financially and otherwise.

The Founder, Mr. Igwe, however restated that the association was ably formed wipe out poverty amongst members.

He said the association is aimed at helping themselves as brothers. We are from various states of the federation targeted at ensuring that Great Men Association benefits all and sundry the country.

“To be a member of Great Men, we must be scrutinized first to know the capacity and antecedents before one would be admitted as members”, the Founder submitted. 

In his own words, the very strong member of Great Men Association, Deacon Uchechukwu Aniegbu, from Anambra State,a business man based in Owerri, thanked all the members of the union for their unity of purpose.

He called on Nigerians and Imolites to come and join Great Men Association as leverage to financial breakthrough by the special grace of God.

The highlight of the party was the commitment of the association into mighty power of God through prayers and supplication.

Meanwhile, all the members, relatives, friends and well-wishers therefore magnified God’s name, committed the progress of association into the hands of God.
